School Store Volunteer Signup

Each month the Elliott PTA hosts a Prize Store for students to spend their Elliott Bucks! The Prize Store happens the last Wednesday of the month in their neighborhood/pod. We need volunteers to help students select their prizes.

Next school store date is December 15th.

Watch DOGS

Elliott is looking for some WatchDOG dads that want to volunteer! We currently need help during recess/lunch and someone to walk after school from Elliott to the corner of Brookstone/Silverado just to keep an eye on students for safety purposes. Make sure you have a background check on file before signing up.

Teacher Workroom Volunteers

Volunteers will do things like laminate, cut out projects, sort papers, sharpen pencils, etc. Occasionally we are asked to change out bulletin boards, or decorate for upcoming events. Times are listed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Kinder Cafe Signup

Help our youngest students at lunch by assisting with opening food and drink items like water bottles, applesauce, Go-gurt etc. Kinder lunch is everyday at 10:30am.

Volunteer for a PTA Committee

Below is a list of various PTA committees that operate throughout the year at different times. Selecting interest in a committee does not mean you are required to participate, only that you will be contacted when the time comes and if you are still interested or available to volunteer.

Book Fair-Committee members help decorate the library, help students select books during the preview dates, and volunteer for cashier times during the week of. Volunteers work closely with the librarian. Set up and preview happens W-F the week before the book fair starts. Fall Book Fair is Sept 13-17th.


Elliott Fun Run Committee- our main and largest fundraiser for the year. Help advertise, find sponsors, think of incentives for teachers and students, pass out water,etc.


Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat Committee-Assist with set-up and tear-down. Think of activities to be held during event, manage cars that sign up, handle awards for decorated trunks, facilitate pizza orders, help with event or assist in finding volunteers to run stations.


Teacher Workroom Volunteers -Elliott PTA supports teachers and staff by laminating any needed materials, cutting, stapling, sorting, etc. Can be done during school hours, or some projects can be done at home. This is a work room job and no young children are allowed in the work room.


Hospitality Committee- Assist our hospitality chair with set-up and tear down of various hospitality events held for Elliott staff throughout the year. Help with sign ups and distributing food for event. Assist during Teacher Appreciation Week in May.


Library Aides Committee-Assist our librarian during the week. Jobs could include Shelving Book, Prepping Materials, Resetting Inquiry Stations, Reading with Students


Reflections/STEAM Committee-Assist our Reflections chair with advertising and promoting PTA's national fine arts competition. Assist students with submitting entries. Help coordinate with Elliott teachers and arrange a STEAM night in the spring.


Watch D.O.G.S Committee-Assist our "Dads of Great Students" Chair in promoting and encouraging father participation. Help with sign ups, various events like the chili cook off and pizza kick off event.


Room Parent -assist in helping your child's teacher with various class specific help. Needs range from helping plan and run the three themed parties throughout the year (Winter, Valentines, End of Year), decorate bulletin board, teacher birthday and appreciation, etc.


Kindergarten Cafe Help-Assist our newest Elliott students during their lunch time M-F. Sign up when your schedule allows and help open juice, snack boxes, etc. at lunch time.


Elliott Store Volunteers - Help the last Wednesday of each month run the Elliott Store during lunch hours. Involves helping students spend Elliott Bucks.
