WATCH D.O.G.S. is a family and community engagement initiative recognized nationwide. The program brings fathers and father figures into schools to make a positive impact. Whether you’re helping in the classroom, greeting students in the morning, monitoring hallways, or joining kids at recess - your presence makes a difference! WATCH D.O.G.S. help with:
Greeting and assisting during student drop-off and pick-up
Monitoring entrances, hallways, and lunch/recess
Supporting teachers in the classroom
Reading with students, helping with flash cards, or playing at recess
Volunteers actively engage not only with their own children, but with many students throughout the school day.
Not at all! Whether you can give multiple days a year, a couple of hours a month, or just one day during the school year, we are happy to have you. Every bit of time makes an impact!
